Recently, at my local Japanese noodle shop, I ordered stir-fried udon noodles topped with hanakatsuo, and someone at my table actually said, “Oh my God, what is that?”

Haha, I had the same reaction when I first saw them at Boom.. The first time I had ever seen the thin flakes. It sure is a crowd pleaser isn’t it :D
