Is there anything more lovely than the pristine surface of a newly-opened jar of peanut butter? I feel sorry for jars of natural peanut butter, which can never offer the world such beauty.

i also enjoy the tummy-button look of new tubs of margarine. :)
(look, my husband can’t have milk from cows, and heart disease runs in my family…so when we have toast, or veg…smartbalance it is.)(why am i so defensive about my butter substitute use?)

Assuming it hasn’t been dropped or shaken about in a plastic grocery sack, the perfectly smooth look of a container of Dannon Coffee Yogurt always keeps its promise that the first bite will be a creamy indulgence. I haven’t grown tired of that morning moment in over 25 years.
