You are a riot!! You make me laugh out loud. With my 2.5 and 4yo burgeoning chefs in the house, my husband and I LOVED Hungry Monkey and I read it twice in a week before it even hit the shelves(my hubby works for HMH). We both love to cook and made a concerted effort not to be "chicken finger parents". A phrase my husband coined while describing some of our friends kids who eat only chicken fingers and occasionally cheese pizza and NEVER try anything different or would be caught eating a single vegetable. That probably sounds just a WEE bit snotty, but I wanted my kids to like food and cooking as much as we did. And we've been lucky.
