Reading it now, loving it, and recommending it to all my mama friends. Thanks for all the laughs and for giving me the courage to give my 10 month old “real food”. He was totally ready for it. He gobbled down some chicken and veggie soup I made last night.

Hi Matthew, I met Laurie at the Tilth plant sale yesterday (she trained me up on cashiering) and was surprised I saw her last name! It was an unexpected brush with celebrity. I had an advance copy of your book on my giant stack of to-read books; I started it last night and could not put it down. Your stories are hilarious and I can’t wait to try out some of the recipes.

I'm on chapter 12. I ADORE YOUR BOOK. You are seriously funny. How did I not know that about you?

And your thai catfish cakes? Kids ate them for breakfast yesterday. Loved them. I think I'm going to post the recipe on the blog next week if that works for you and then, maybe we can do a blog interview before or around your trip to NYC.

Seriously, your book is extremely inciteful about feeding kids. Every new parent needs to read this before they start running around with spoonfuls of pasta, forcing them to eat, for fear they might keel over from malnutrition.

Really, Matthew, great job.

I have it; I’m on page 65; it’s AWESOME. Seriously hilarious and awesome. Trying to figure out how to review it on my blog - it does at least FEATURE a child.
