Iris Out Loud #1: Blue C Sushi

Posted by mamster on Sunday, February 18, 2007

Okay, here’s our first crack at a podcast. I asked Iris what she wanted to talk about, and she said Blue C Sushi, which is where we’re having lunch today.

Iris Out Loud 1: Blue C Sushi (364K AAC)

Future installments won’t follow this interview format—it feels too much like school. But we were both eager to put something up, so please let me know if the audio quality is okay (we ended up using my little voice recorder) and if you have any trouble downloading.

A lunchcast! (True to her words, Iris had a cream puff and salmon but no tuna.)

Great audio, no download problems except it automatically downloads into my Magnetic Fields playlist, I think because it’s the closest match to the artist “Mamster” (alphabetically and philosophically). How do you get on the iTunes podcast list?

The audio is good, but the people demand video.

I did realize that I forgot to tag the file properly. I’ll fix that after Iris goes to bed tonight.

great podcast- we had a bit of a problem getting it (and I’m on a mac) but once dayne figured out to change it from text to m4a we were good to go. cute!

The .m4a file is being published as a MIME type ‘text/plain’ — if you can get your host to change that to ‘audio/x-m4a’ (for .m4a files only) you should be good to go.

Email or PM me if you have any questions!

Loved the audio itself once we heard it!

Downloads fine. Sounds great.

I’m hungry again now…

No problem! iTunes took care of it.

And so cute! I know what you mean by it being work. Even though my little munchkin talks a mile a minute, unscripted, it’s like pulling teeth to get him to talk on cue. :-)

If this turns into a regular gig for you two, I’ll subscribe!

Dayne, I know how to fix that. Will do, when Iris is not on my lap.

Should be fixed now, Dayne. Give it a try.

Worked fine on my mac, no troubles. Iris has gift for radio, I think.

That was great! I love that the artist is Roots and Grubs and the album is Iris Out Loud!

I finally got to hear this today — the changes must’ve been the magic ingredient. Love both of the Iris Out Loud segments so far.
