Neil, we can never eat Thai together then. I will die if I eat Thai food without spice. (Ok, that’s a lie since there are non-spicy Thai foods.)

Yeah, there are things there that are “spicy” but not labeled as such. The Chimichuri Rice in the frozen section comes to mind. I like spicy, my toddler likes spicy, but the husband doesn’t, so I’ve learned to taste test before serving to the whole family.

My spicy and your spicy may be entirely different things. I’m a complete spice weeny. At Thai restaurants I order “no-stars”.

Yeah, I hate it when Joe’s (rarely) lets me down. Usually it’s when something turns out to be very spicy when it isn’t labeled as such. I HATE that!

Yep. I tried them too and came to the same conclusion. I felt sad; I usually love the food at Trader Joe’s.
