Random “I Heart Seattle” moment
I’m at the new location of Espresso Vivace, one of Seattle’s best espresso bars. It’s in an area of South Lake Union where everything is under construction. While I was waiting for my macchiato, a construction worker with a blue hard hat came in.
He ordered quiche lorraine and a tall nonfat latte.

Where is that? I know someone who just started a job near there and probably needs some good coffee.

I’m not sure that blue hard hats aren’t some sort of ironic hipster thing.
Of course, the whole point of irony is that you never can tell for sure…
