Vince, I have been to CC’s, and I thought it was good but not great. I can’t remember what my specific criticisms were, though, and I’d definitely be willing to go back, because the place has a great neighborhood hangout feel and it’s kid-friendly.

Have you tried CC’s (26th & Union)? For me it’s the ultimate example of a burger that successfully straddles the FFB/BWA divide.

My favorite thing foodwise at DeLuxe is the tartar sauce. Man, I haven’t been there since I stopped caring about bars that don’t card.

hee hee. I finally got to db Bistro for a work lunch last month — where the PR guy did indeed order the burger. he restrained himself to a standard allotment of truffles.
