My two-year-old nephew is the darling of my life. Besides simply being with him, I love watching him acquire language and enjoy food. For the past year, every time we visit, we play the "sniffing game," which just means going into the pantry and taking down every ingredient and letting him have a sniff. When it's something sweet, he takes a deep sigh, then says, "That feels gooood."</p> <p>He wanted about twelve of my gingersnaps the other day.</p> <p>However, if Iris starts making Marta Stewart's cookies, I'm going to be a little miffed!</p> I just love reading these posts about Iris.
